The Yankees' streak was stopped at eight as the Chicago White Sox claimed a 4-1 victory.
The Miami Marlins shut out the Seattle Mariners 5-0, the Toronto Blue Jays' poor start to the season continued with an 8-7 loss to the Boston Red Sox and the Philadelphia Phillies beat the New York Mets 6-2.

Reds slugger Duvall blasted a gram slam against Orioles ace Kevin Gausman, who was tagged for eight runs in just 2.2 innings of work.
JAYS STILL BATTLING
The Blue Jays' slump continued as ace Marcus Stroman struggled in a home start against the Red Sox. The All-Star right-hander gave up six runs on 11 hits in just 4.2 innings. Stroman now owns a 4.05 ERA this season as Toronto fell to 2-11.
NATIONALS VISIT BRAVES
Joe Ross will make his first start of the season after beginning in the minors to limit the innings on his arm. He faces a tough assignment against Braves (6-7) ace Julio Teheran (1-0, 0.95 ERA), who has allowed three runs or fewer in seven starts against the Nationals (8-5).
