Australia and New South Wales playmaker James Maloney has joined the Penrith Panthers until at least the end of 2020.
Maloney has signed with the Panthers after two seasons with the Cronulla Sharks, with whom he won the 2016 NRL premiership.
The 31-year-old, who has played three Tests for the Kangaroos and nine State of Origin games for the Blues, is excited about his move to Penrith.
"Panthers have the roster and the resources to achieve success over the coming years and I'm really excited to now be part of that," Maloney said.
"The squad has a strong forward pack for me to play behind, plus some young and talented players coming through in the outside backs."

The Panthers are Maloney's fifth NRL club after previous stints with Melbourne Storm, the New Zealand Warriors, the Sydney Roosters and the Sharks.
Penrith executive general manager Phil Gould said the signing of Maloney was a boost for the club.
"James Maloney is an exciting acquisition for Panthers," he said.
"He has regularly succeeded at the highest levels of our game and brings a wealth of experience.
"It's a real vote of confidence in the potential of our club that James has chosen to play with Panthers.
"We are truly delighted to welcome him to Penrith."
Maloney arrives at Penrith as a replacement for Matt Moylan, who joined the Sharks.
